Heading up Mortgage Origination and Underwriting as Vice President, Scott Dawson is cornerstone of our team’s ability to craft innovative solutions. With over a decade of experience starting from his entry into mortgage brokering in 2010. Scott has established himself as a trusted expert in the field. His commitment to excellence shines through in assisting everyone from first-time homebuyers to seasoned property owners.
Scott brings unmatched attention to detail and a deep reservoir of industry knowledge, combining strategic insights with a client-first mentality. His stellar reputation ensures the every mortgage we underwrite at Spark Mortgage is not only compliant but optimized for long-term success in BC’s dynamic real estate market.

Our Underwriter, Jenn Quechuck, has been in the mortgage industry for nearly five years, where she specializes in guiding clients through significant financial decisions like purchasing their first home or consolidating debt. Originally from Quesnel and now a long-time resident of Kamloops, Jenn’s personal touch makes her an invaluable asset to the team.

Outside of work, Jenn enjoys outdoor adventures with her family, including horseback riding, hiking, hunting, and quality time with her toddler, husband, and animals. Her deep care for people translates directly into her professional life, where she approaches each case with empathy and meticulous attention, ensuring that Spark Mortgage’s clients feel supported every step of the way.

With 18 years in the financial industry, Mortgage Agent Nadia Causley brings a wealth of knowledge to Spark Mortgage. She spent many years at a major bank before transitioning to mortgage brokering, where she now focuses on working directly for clients rather than institutions. Nadia’s expertise in mortgages and lending makes her a go-to resource for navigating complex financing needs.
As a parent and long-time resident of Langely, Nadia has a strong sense of community and a genuine desire to help her neighbours achieve homeownership in the challenging Lower Mainland market. She’s committed to delivering a superlative client experience by truly understanding individual needs and guiding informed choices, aligning perfectly with our mission to provide accessible mortgage options in BC.

Rounding out the team is Savonah Yablonski, our Administrative Assistant, whose passion for customer service and extensive administrative experience keep everything running smoothly. Often the first friendly voice clients hear, Savonah guides them through the complexities of financial planning, assists with technology, and provides ongoing support. She’s the backbone of our operations, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.
Hailing from the North Shuswap with deep roots in the Kamloops area, Savonah now lives in Rayleigh with her spouse Brandon, their three children, and two puppies. Her love for outdoor activities like camping, swimming, boating, quadding, dirt biking, and sledding reflects her energetic spirit, which she brings to supporting our clients’ journeys in mortgage lending.
